Refund Policy & 60-Day Rank Guarantee

NebulaSEO subscription fees are non-refundable, with one exception: the 60-Day Rank Guarantee. Opt in at signup, meet the criteria for the full window, and if your average map-pack rank still hasn't improved against the day-zero baseline, you get every dollar back. Both checks are tracked systematically by the platform. The refund decision comes from the data, not a meeting.

The Short Version

We don't issue refunds, with one exception. If you opt into our 60-Day Rank Guarantee at signup, meet the criteria for the full 60 days, and your average map-pack rank still hasn't improved against the day-zero baseline, you get every dollar back for that location. Both checks are systematic. They are tracked live against the same baseline rank-grid captured when you complete address verification (that is when the 60-day clock starts). The refund decision comes from the data, not a meeting. No opinion is involved. If you pass both checks, your dashboard surfaces a "Claim refund" button — one click and the money returns to your card. Outside that one circumstance, all subscription fees are final.

1. Default Policy. No Refunds.

All NebulaSEO subscription fees are non-refundable. Once a billing cycle has been charged (including the $1 trial fee, the first $79 monthly charge after trial conversion, and every recurring charge thereafter) payment is final. This applies whether you used the Service, partially used the Service, or did not log in at all during the billing cycle. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not generate a refund for the current period.

2. The Only Exception. 60-Day Rank Guarantee.

The single circumstance under which NebulaSEO issues refunds is the 60-Day Rank Guarantee. New customers whose baseline average local map-pack rank is #4 or worse may opt in when they create the location or within 7 days after. If your average rank does not improve in the 60 days after you complete address verification (when the 60-day guarantee clock starts) AND you have met every guarantee criterion (described in Section 4), NebulaSEO will refund every dollar paid for that location during the 60-day window. Once the criteria check confirms eligibility, a "Claim refund" button appears on your dashboard; one click confirms the request and the refund is issued to your card.

3. Eligibility to Opt In.

To opt in, your day-0 baseline audit must show an average rank of #4 or worse across the keywords NebulaSEO tracks for the location. We require this so there is genuine room to improve. Businesses already ranking in the top 3 are not eligible. You can opt in when you create the location or within 7 days after creating it. You cannot retroactively add the guarantee to a location that has been active longer than 7 days.

4. Guarantee Criteria.

To qualify for a refund under the 60-Day Rank Guarantee you must, for the entire 60-day window: (a) have opted in to the guarantee within 7 days of creating the location; (b) have completed address verification; (c) approve at least 90% of AI-generated posts (no more than 2 outright rejections); (d) reply to new reviews within 48 hours of receipt; (e) keep at least 50% of the AI-generated business description; (f) keep at least 50% of the AI-generated services list; (g) use no more than 7 days of out-of-office mode. Items (a) opt-in and (b) address verification are entry gates (see Sections 2-3) rather than ongoing checks. The baseline-rank eligibility described in Section 3 is itself the sixth tracked precondition the platform evaluates, alongside the five ongoing checks (c) through (g), so this Section maps cleanly to the six criteria your business settings render live. Failing any criterion disqualifies the location from the refund regardless of rank outcome. The criteria are tracked live in your business settings. You always know whether you're on track.

5. Eligibility Window.

The refund window opens on day 60 after you complete address verification (Section 4b, when the 60-day guarantee clock starts) and closes 14 days after that (day 74 from verification). You must trigger the refund from your dashboard within that window. Refunds requested after day 74 cannot be processed. The window exists so customers don't sit on guarantee credit indefinitely while continuing to use the Service.

6. What the Refund Covers.

An eligible refund returns all subscription charges actually paid for the qualifying location from the date you complete address verification (when the 60-day guarantee clock starts) through the end of the guarantee period, after any promotional discount that was applied to those charges. Charges that fall before the guarantee clock starts (such as the $1 trial fee taken at signup) are outside the guarantee window and are not refunded. The refund also does not cover other locations on your account, charges incurred outside the guarantee window, or any third-party costs you incurred independent of NebulaSEO (web hosting, domain registration, paid ads, etc.). The full amount charged for the qualifying location during the window is returned. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days. If you subscribed through the iOS app (Apple In-App Purchase), the refund is issued by Apple, not by us. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple ID you subscribed with.

7. What Does Not Qualify for a Refund.

The following situations do not qualify for refunds under any circumstance: (a) accidental subscription renewal. Cancellations must occur before the renewal charge processes; (b) account inactivity. Paying without using the Service does not entitle you to a refund; (c) subjective dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality, design choices, or feature set; (d) Google Business Profile suspensions, penalties, or removals not directly caused by NebulaSEO actions you approved; (e) loss of revenue, leads, or rankings attributable to factors outside our control (Google algorithm changes, competitor activity, seasonality); (f) failure to meet any of the guarantee criteria in Section 4; (g) requests outside the eligibility window in Section 5; (h) chargebacks initiated through your bank. These are disputed and result in immediate suspension of the affected location pending review.

8. Cancellation vs. Refund.

Cancelling your subscription is not the same as requesting a refund. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing and ends Service access at the close of your current paid period. No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current period. If you also qualify for a guarantee refund, the refund is processed independently of cancellation.

9. Multi-Location Accounts.

Each location is treated as a separate subscription line for refund purposes. The 60-Day Rank Guarantee can be opted into per location. Refunding one location under the guarantee does not affect billing or refund eligibility for any other location on your account.

10. Disputes.

If you believe you qualify for a refund and the automated check disagrees, contact support@nebulaseo.com with your business name and account email. We will manually review the criteria and respond within 3 business days. Manual review is the final step. There is no further appeal beyond a manual review decision. Initiating a payment-card chargeback in lieu of contacting support results in immediate suspension of the affected location pending review and forfeiture of any pending guarantee credit.

11. Changes to This Policy.

NebulaSEO reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately on posting and apply to future billing cycles only. Refunds for charges incurred under a prior version of the policy are governed by that prior version. The 60-Day Rank Guarantee, once opted into, is governed by the policy version in effect at the time of opt-in for the duration of that guarantee window.
